Founder & Chairman
Mr. Kailash Pat Agarwala, Founder and Chairman of JPK Metallics, started the journey in 1976 with a vision to serve India’s infrastructure needs through precision metal casting. Over five decades, his leadership has built a company defined by reliability, integrity and a relentless commitment to getting it right.
Mr. Punit Agarwala
Director
Mr. Punit Agarwala joined the business in 2004, bringing a fresh operational perspective that has reshaped the foundry over two decades. He introduced No-Bake casting and diversified the range into industrial casting components, digitalised internal systems in the interest of transparency for JPK’s partners, and scaled up capacity and infrastructure through 2026 — making JPK Metallics a modern foundry and expanding its domestic and international markets alike.
Our Journey
Shree Jagannath Ferro Casting
Founded in 1976, Shree Jagannath Ferro Castings laid the foundation of our journey in the Indian foundry industry. Over the years the grey cast iron foundry evolved with the industry — from pipes to railway sleepers and eventually to sanitary castings. The experience built in those decades established the expertise that continues to drive our casting operations today.

KPA Securities Pvt. Ltd.
In 2005, we established KPA Securities Pvt. Ltd., our ductile iron foundry, taking the business into a new casting segment — among the first in Bengal to manufacture ductile iron sanitary castings. It strengthened our technical capability and allowed us to meet growing demand for ductile iron castings.

JPK Metallics Pvt. Ltd
In 2010, KPA Securities Pvt. Ltd. was renamed JPK Metallics Pvt. Ltd. We upgraded our production capabilities with DISA ARPA moulding lines and an advanced sand plant, while expanding our product portfolio with ductile iron pipe fittings to serve the evolving needs of the infrastructure sector.

Unified Foundry Operations
In 2012, after 36 successful years, Shree Jagannath Ferro Castings completed its operations and grey iron production moved to JPK's newly established Grey Cast Iron Foundry, bringing both metals under one company. The move strengthened our manufacturing capability, and we could now serve a broader range of requirements from a single source.

A Landmark Year of Scale and Rebranding
Our 50th year brought the most significant chapter in our journey so far — a new logo, a refreshed brand identity, and scaling the foundry to new heights. A new furnace, an upgraded sand plant, a new Automated Mould Handling System (MHS), and further infrastructure and process improvements to raise capacity and efficiency. A milestone marked not by looking back, but by what comes next.
